Winter Break workshops are boredom-busters when the holiday excitement is over, a fun way to pull kids away from their screens, and an opportunity for families to create warm holiday memories together!
Stuffie Dream Car: Cardboard Edition Workshop (1/6 from 10 – 11:30 am): In this STEAM-focused workshop, families will design and construct a cardboard dream car for a beloved (mid-sized) stuffie. It’s no secret that we think cardboard is GREAT—it inspires creativity and imagination in kids like nothing else can. Come create with us!
This family workshop is recommended for ages 4 and up. Siblings, caregivers, and friend groups are all welcome! Children must be supervised at all times by the grown-ups in their group.
Family workshops at The Iowa Children’s Museum are pay-what-you-can. We encourage participants to select the cost that they can afford, or pay a little extra to support other families and future programs! Member discounts do not apply to this program.
