Winter Break workshops are boredom-busters when the holiday excitement is over, a fun way to pull kids away from their screens, and an opportunity for families to create warm holiday memories together!
Art Zoo Workshop (1/4 from 10:00 – 11:30 am): This workshop will focus on animal art created by some of our favorite children’s book illustrators! Using collage and printmaking, families will make art based on these beloved books. Dress For Mess!
This family workshop is recommended for ages 4 and up. Siblings, caregivers, and friend groups are all welcome! Children must be supervised at all times by the grown-ups in their group.
Family workshops at The Iowa Children’s Museum are pay-what-you-can. We encourage participants to select the cost that they can afford, or pay a little extra to support other families and future programs! Member discounts do not apply to this program.
Registration is required. Please register everyone in your group under one registration.
