Join The Iowa Children’s Museum and special guest Iowa City Press Coop for a Valentine’s Day card-making extravaganza! Families will make hand-printed and stamped Valentine’s cards and create goodies for loved ones in this very special workshop.
Our hand-printed cards will have a Valentine’s message using a Kelsey clamshell letterpress printing press. Watch the printing press in action and then decorate the front with unique designs using a collection of stamps!
This family workshop is recommended for ages four and up. Siblings, caregivers, and friend groups are all welcome! Children must be supervised at all times by the grown-ups in their group.
Family workshops at The Iowa Children’s Museum are pay-what-you-can. We encourage participants to select the cost that they can afford, or pay a little extra to support other families and future programs! Member discounts do not apply to this program.
Registration is required. Please register everyone in your group under one registration.
