Kids ages 4 to 12, join us for a Valentine’s Day party in your favorite exhibits during Night at the Children’s Museum! Bring your friends or make some new ones as you play the night away. Night at the Children’s Museum is a drop-off program just for kids—no grownups needed (except for our awesome PLAYologists)! The party takes place from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and will include dinner. The cost is $25 per child—and members receive a 10% discount. Reservations required. Reserve your space online now.

Night at the Children’s Museum is a drop-off program for kids ages 4-12. Cost is $20 per child.

Funny Nuggets is The Comedy Clubhouse for Kids. They are bringing their unique interactive program and entertaining cast to The Iowa Children’s Museum to put on a special pop-up comedy experience for YOU while giving your parents a break! Join us for a hilarious show, creative craft, and wacky improv games all centered around a snow day theme! Snack and play time in the museum included (don’t forget to eat dinner before you come).

Here at the museum, we’re big fans of upcycling—transforming unwanted items into something useful and beautiful! In the morning session, weave a wonderful pencil cup for your desk and learn how to finger knit. The afternoon session will include sewing a bag for a travel Tic Tac Toe game, and making a pillow out of your favorite old t-shirt.
