Teddy Bear Hospital with AORN

AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses) is hosted a Teddy Bear Hospital at The ICM on Saturday, February 23 from 10 AM to 1 PM!
Kids, bring your doll or stuffed toy and join us for a pre-op storytime, operating room, and recovery. We’ll share a story about a turtle who has to have surgery, show children some of the things they might see in an operating room, and talk about what it’s like to lay on the OR bed and go to sleep for surgery. Post-op, children will get to pick out bandages to put on their teddy bears and dolls.
Children should bring a doll or stuffed toy for the post-op activity. Bandages will be provided.
When: Saturday, February 23 from 10 AM to 1 PM
Where: The Iowa Children’s Museum
Cost: All activities are included in regular museum admission
