Join us for a full week of not-too-spooky fun! Creepy-crawly spiders and happy jack-o-lanterns have found their way into our exhibits, and we’re excited to once again offer Halloween activities that kids of all ages will enjoy. Join the event on Facebook

Costumes are encouraged all week! Our team will join the fun as well, so keep an eye out for dinosaurs, superheroes, and other silly characters!

Daily Activities: As you play in our exhibits, be sure to check out the creepy crafts in the Art Studio, peculiar toppings in Pizzeria Pie, In The Leaves story walk throughout the museum, and a Halloween “I Spy” scavenger hunt! We’ll also have rotating Halloween activities throughout the week including pumpkin bowling, bucket toss, and pumpkin cup stacking!

Spooky Sing-Alongs: Dance to the music and sing with us about pumpkins, bats, and other Halloween favorites! Saturday and Sunday only at 10:30 am & 12:30 pm.

Sensory-Friendly Halloween – Our monthly Super Hero Night is Halloween-themed this month! Families are invited to join us for sensory-friendly Halloween activities in a calmer environment and opportunities to collect treats in our museum exhibits. Advanced reservations are required. Jack SPLAT – Once Halloween is over, don’t throw your pumpkins away. Let us throw them from up high instead! Grab your jack-o-lanterns and join us for JACK SPLAT! This year we’re taking it to a new level at Chauncey Swan Park. Learn more or join the Facebook event.
