Move it! Dig it! Do it! is back for another year of educational, fun-filled activities focused on big equipment that MOVES.
Grab your hard hat and take an up-close look at large construction and farming equipment, big trucks, and emergency vehicles! Join us in the Coral Ridge Mall parking lot outside The Iowa Children’s Museum for games, activities, and vehicles of all shapes and sizes. The fun starts at 10 a.m. on Sunday, October 1st, 2023.
Admission is FREE for all outdoor activities. To maintain our reduced capacity limits, admission inside The Iowa Children’s Museum will require purchasing tickets at the door. Admission will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Activities 2023
- Create a cardboard community by working together to engineer a town with buildings, roads, bridges, and more!
- Design and decorate cars made out of cardboard.
- Use the vehicles as inspiration to build with blue blocks.
- Watch a bike tune-up demonstration with the Bike Library.
- Meet Mady Foster, local author of “Taylor the Construction Worker”.
- Check out Move It! Dig It! Do It! themed books from the Coralville Public Library’s Book Bike (11 a.m.-1 pm).
- Meet Dash from The Iowa Heartlanders and try to hit pucks into hockey nets.
- Play a round of Gross Motor Bingo with Childserve.
