Morning at the Market

Come celebrate the completion of the Farmer’s Market exhibit updates! Our team has been hard at work adding an orchard, food truck, some egg-straordinary hens, a buzzing hive, and so much more to this exhibit!

We will offer a variety of activities from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to explore how food grows.

• FREE market tote bag (while supplies last)
• Market Activities: Explore the exhibit updates with a Morning Market Scavenger Hunt (ages 3-5) , a Smoothie Recipe Shopping List (ages 5 +), and maybe even grab a free sample from our market vendor
• Sing-along & Story Time: Dance to the music and enjoy some farmer fun at 10:30 a.m.
• Egg Run: Engineer a ramp that will carry an egg safely to the end in Coral Cove!
• Quilt Mural: Inspired by the quilt murals of the Farmer’s Market, play with different patterns and colors on our Art Studio paint wall
• Apple Maze: Help Bee Bot, our programming floor bot, through an Apple Maze
• Farm-themed book list for all guests, courtesy of our friends at the Coralville Library

All activities are included with museum admission. FREE for members!
